Quimera Energy the Global leader in Energy Efficient and Sustainable Smart Building Solutions is pleased to announce that it has continued its expansion into the Health Sector having signed an agreement with Narayana Health in India.
Narayana Health, based in Bangalore is India’s second largest Health sector provider with over 30 Hospitals and clinics spread across India’s major cities.
Quimera Energy (QE) will bring its skill set to deliver Energy Efficiency programmes to the Narayana Health Group. QE will deploy its Energy as a Service programme involving a retrofit of the plant room to produce Thermal energy for the flagship Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science in Bangalore. QE has designed, commissioned and installed the new state of the art equipment and will now operate and maintain the new Energy Efficient equipment. QE will reduce both operating costs and emissions for the building-without requiring any capital investment from Narayana Health.
This agreement in India with Narayana Health builds on Quimera Energy’s expansion into the Health Sector and follows an agreement already in place with the NHS in the UK with a programme being deployed at the Manchester University NHS Trust bringing its proven track record of delivering Energy Efficiency programmes to the largest public sector organisation in the UK.
Quimera Energy recognises this move into the Health sector as part of a larger diversification process not only of our client base in terms of sectors but also in terms of Energy Efficiency programmes focusing on both demand optimisation and efficient supply as well as Circular Smart Building Life Cycle programmes for the built environment.
Javier de Rocafort, Chairman of Quimera Energy said, “The team at Quimera Energy are delighted to working with the prestigious Narayana Health Group within the important Indian economy and we see this as part of our continued expansion into the Health Sector around the Globe”.
