RIU Hotels receives sustainability reward for its project with QEE

Quimera Energy and RIU Palace Meloneras started collaboration seven months ago and its hotel has been recently recognized as one of the most sustainable in Spain.

Hotel RIU Palace Meloneras, which is located in sunny Gran Canaria, has been awarded in the fourth Re Think Hotel Awards during FITUR – the International Tourism Fair in Madrid. FITUR is a leading fair trade and a global meeting point for tourism professionals. Re Think Hotel award recognizes the best sustainability and hotel rehabilitation projects in the Spanish hotel sector. This year only 20 hotels have been announced as the most sustainable in Spain and RIU Palace Meloneras was one of them.
