The Al-Shayji Family invest in Quimera Energy Facilities Management LLC to accelerate the company’s growth in the market.
In 2016 the UK based Energy Efficiency Company Quimera Energy Ltd established a Middle East subsidiary Quimera Energy Facilities Management LLC (QEFM) in Dubai with local strategic Emirati partner the Doleh family office. Following consistent growth in the UAE, QEFM has received further investment from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Al-Shayji Family to accelerate growth in the wider region.
Al Shayji family business is focused on real estate and the family owns a large portfolio of properties in the USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. With the Al-Shayji investment and strategic real estate portfolio, QEFM will seek in the future to extent its proven business model beyond the Hospitality sectors to new sectors within the region’s real estate market.
QEFM currently provides Energy efficiency programs delivering substantial reductions in utilities consumption with no cost to the client and will maintain a strategic focus in the Hospitality sector. Additionally, Quimera heavily concentrates in delivering the IoT based integrated approach for facilities management, which enables intelligent automated control over building´s energy performance. By leveraging vast amount of data generated on daily bases, its groundbreaking solutions provide human-like insights and allow for predictive energy management of the facilities, which results in even greater reduction of energy consumption while lowering facility management costs.
The company will expand operations in the Middle East by applying its unprecedented expertise and innovative solutions to optimise the hotel sectors´ energy usage. This is achieved by enabling greater control over energy performance, reducing utility consumption and delivering real time savings for the Hotel. The Al-Shayji family’s investment and important network will enhance QEFM´s position in the region and contribute to further expansion.
Over the last six months, Quimera Facilities Management LLC has signed important contracts with Dubai’s renowned luxury hotels such as Fairmont, Raffles and Grand Millennium. In addition, a new contract has also been signed with the Hyatt Hotel Muscat in Oman.
